This prestigious event aims to showcase the art of coffee roasting while bridging the gap between producers, roasters and consumers in the specialty coffee industry.
Following its successful debut at CAFERES JAPAN 2024, KOUNOU COFFEE continues to make waves in the Japanese coffee scene with this innovative competition. The Roasting Masters Cup 2024 will focus on highlighting the unique characteristics of coffee beans from Ethiopia and Yunnan, China, in line with KOUNOU COFFEE’s expertise in Yunnan specialty coffee.

- Participants: 20 professional coffee roasters
- Challenge: Blending Ethiopian and Yunnan beans, using at least 40% of each origin
- Judging: Cupping evaluation by professional judges and participants
- Grand Prize: A state-of-the-art roast degree measuring device

Registration for the Roasting Masters Cup is open until August 30, 2024, with a participation fee of ¥5,980, which includes competition-grade Ethiopian and Yunnan green coffee beans.
